Project measures

• Reestablishment of salt marshes.

• Re-establishing natural flood dynamics.

• Restoration of natural hydrology on the salt marsh by removing drainage ditches.

• Optimizing the botanical conditions on re-established salt meadows.

• Optimizing the nature restoration area for birdlife through the establishment of snipe scrapes and shallow waterholes to improve habitats for breeding and resting waders and amphibians.
